Have had my Specter-S about 3 months with only 1 major glitch. The motor would cut off suddenly very randomly with 02H code. Could not find cause so they shipped me another motor. After now putting 150k on replacement, seems the problem is gone. I have 800 total miles now. Do think front fork bushing's getting a bit loose but otherwise no more problems.

With the help of my neighbor, we assembled the bike for my grandson. Assembly was relatively easy; however, it was easier with two people. Assembly includes the handle bars, front tire, seat and pedals. The tool provided was all one needed to complete the assembly. I have test driven the bike and it put a smile on my face from ear to ear. I am waiting to receive a helmet so I can get out on the bike and comfortably enjoy the bike. I have had two neighbors test drive it and I could barely get them off the bike! I know that I will have years to enjoy this fun bike!! I am most excited!

The bike is great, but the accessories I ordered (full suspension rack & fender set) needs modification for the front fender to be mounted properly. Very disappointing, especially after email communication with MBHQ.

"This bike is insane!" That's what I keep saying out loud every time I ride this beast. The wheels are so big and it has so much power it's like riding a bicycle / motorcycle hybrid. For example, let's say you are going over a set of rocks on a trail that are 12" x 12" on a normal mountain bike, this bike will go over 18" to 20" rocks with the same ease. I live in CO, and was recently climbing rocky trails that were 17% grade (10 Degrees) and the back tire was spinning at times looking for traction on the gravel as I pedaled. That mountain trip was over 11 miles on up and down terrain and it only used one bar on the battery (16ah) I had to wait a month to get this bike because of backorder and came close to cancelling at one time but decided against it and I am so glad that I didn't. If any of you out there are waiting for this bike to arrive and getting impatient, let me tell you this bike is definitely worth waiting for!

Setup videos are clear and answer lots of questions. Assembly was straight forward and simple. Riding experience is excellent. The fat tires and robust frame combined with a 1000 watt mid motor propels this bike with ease. The bike is heavy but solid. No its not a carbon fiber model. I didn't need super light weight, just a really fun bike to exercise with and run errands on. Plus living at 8000 feet above sea level, and having aging knees, I can enjoy being outside and riding anywhere. The fat tires work great for all seasons including snow so I can ride any time of the year. When I have had questions, both phone calls were answered and emails returned. Well done. Very positive experience overall. I will recommend motorized bicycle HQ & Eunorau bikes to anyone looking for a fun electric assist bike.

I wanted to write a 2nd review about MBHQ and the Spector S. The bike has exceeded my expectations. The power is outstanding and the ride is exceptional. This last week my bike was stole from my garage. it was locked and they came with bolt cutters to steal it.
I want to thank the company for there expedited service. I ordered a replacement Spector S 1 day after my bike was taken and they processed my order and shipped a new bike Monday Morning and it was delivered on Thursday. The service received has been outstanding and I highly recommend the Spector S if you are looking for one of the best & fastest E-bikes available on the market. Keep your bikes locked and close. Great quality and easy to set up. Burly and strong and can handle tough urban commutes as well as woodsy rides. Suspension and tires can handle quite a bit of hard riding and the battery seems endless. Nice little interface keeps all the data in an easy to read format. Life is good.

Absolutely love this bike!!! Dreaded riding my other bike around my neighborhood trails because of the steep hills. Riding uphill was quite the challenge for me, now I can ride pretty much anywhere. Still get in a great workout but not nearly as exhausted as before.
