Throttle is just the best; especially if you aren't the most serious biker that maybe gets tired on hills or long stretches. My corgi fits great buckled into the rear basket & loves the wind flowing through his ears. I put a flat piece of cardboard then a dog bed that fit the size of the basket so he's comfortable & safe

We bought the MF-18 for me and the New-Trike for my wife, we are having a blast riding them, they are easy to pedal with the 7 speed option or activate the motor to go over 20 mph if you want. This trike is so much fun and easy to assemble. My wife was initially intimidated by the three-wheel stance and thought she might tip over. I also had some concerns during my first few rides. It takes a bit of practice to get used to, but once you do, it's a blast. Just remember that it's not a mountain bike.

I have been riding for years, but due to 2 stints and a bout with cancer I started using an ebike. My wife had been using a trike and found it too difficult with the hills here. So I looked around and found the New-Trike was by far the best quality and best price for that quality. It arrived shortly after we ordered it and was very well packed. With both my wife and I putting it together it took a couple of hours and was not that difficult (she is 73 and I am 79). In a couple of rides she became familiar with shifting gears and controlling battery boost. She has learned safely ride a trike and control her speed and cornering. Before the etrike she would hardly ride with me. Now if I mention going for a ride she immediately responds let her change her shoes and she will be ready. I added some pink stipping and a few pink butterflies. I even did her name in pink on the front basket. She likes her pink and black girlie look. .

Maybe e-bikes are just not for me. It was not easy to put together, parts didn't line up right. Had to tweak the parts to get it together on one. The bike the battery kicks in after about a turn an a half when I want to pedal myself. I thought it was going to be different.
